Schedule a Session with a Trigonometry Tutor

Ok, you've decided that you want to schedule a session with a Tutorzilla tutor, so the first thing to do is create an account.  We only need a small amount of personal information from you, which will include your email address, your first name, your parent's first name, and a phone number we can call to walk you through a quick set-up.  You will have your own Tutorzilla account page, which you should pop up after you submit your information.  Now, you just need to click on the "Schedule Session" link.  To schedule your Trig Tutoring session, select "math" in the subject area, "trigonometry" in the course area, the topic you want to focus on, instructions for your tutor, upload your homework if necessary, and select a date and time to meet your tutor online.  You will need to confirm that your selections are correct, and now you have a "tutoring date" for Trig with Tutorzilla!

Connecting Online to Your Trigonometry Tutor

You may be wondering, "How do I meet my tutor online?". The first thing you should do is check your email inbox.  You will see an email reminder from Tutorzilla for your tutoring session and a link to the Webex session you will use to connect to your Trigonometry Tutor.  Webex provides the online whiteboard technology, kind of like an online piece of paper between you and your tutor, so that you can work through problems together.  Don't worry if you haven't used Webex before, because it's easy to learn, and your Trigonometry Tutor will teach you how to use the Webex tools for using the whiteboard and how to chat the first time you sign on.  If any technological issues come up, your tutor can help you troubleshoot them so you can get on with learning.  For the best online experience, we recommend that you get a headset with a microphone, which you can purchase at any electronics store or by visiting our tutoring resources page.

Ending Your Online Session

You've worked through your questions and trig problems, so now what?  Near the end of your session, your Trigonometry Tutor will check to see if you have any questions, and will also review what you went over during the tutorial.  Why review?  Because your tutor wants to make sure you completely understand the new material, and we want to reinforce your trig confidence.  If you need to book another session, your tutor will also tell you how to do this, and we will ask you to fill out a short survey at the end of your session to tell us about your experience with your online Trigonometry Tutor.  At Tutorzilla, we grade our tutors on your satisfaction with your session, their performance as an online teacher, and their popularity with other online students.  We hope that you have a great session and request to work with the same tutor again, but you can choose to work with another tutor if you'd like when your schedule another session.

There's no need to struggle with Trig by yourself anymore, and you can schedule your first FREE session right now.  Tutorzilla's homework tutors can get you back on the top of the heap and be ready for Pre Calculus.
