Scheduling a Session with a Physics Tutor
At Tutorzilla, we know Physics is tough stuff, so we want to make getting online and finding a tutor as easy as possible. If you need help in your Physics class, we are here for you! How do you get this online help? Well, first you need to create an account with Tutorzilla. To set a tutoring session go to your Account page, click on the "Schedule Session" link and select "Science" (subject), then "Physics" (course), the topic you want to talk about, any additional instructions for your private tutor, and you can upload homework. Please select a date and time as well, so that your tutor knows when to meet you online. Finally, we will ask you to confirm your selections for the scheduled session, and now it's off you go for some great Physics Tutoring!
Connecting to Your Physics Tutor
Meeting your Physics tutor online is easy, and the best way to do it is to read the email you receive from Tutorzilla reminding you of your scheduled session. In that email, we will provide you with a quick link which will take you to the Webex session you will use to connect to your online Physics tutor. Webex is the online virtual whiteboard platform you and your tutor can write on, chat on, and use to work through those tough Physics problems. If you haven't used Webex before, your tutor can show you how to use the simple whiteboard tools in minutes. Having techological issues? Your Physics tutor can help you troubleshoot the problem and get you back to learning. To communicate most effectively with your tutor, we recommend that you get a headset, which you can find on our tutoring resources page.
Finishing Up Your Physics Tutoring Session
Phew! You've probably learned a lot by the time you get close to the end of your session, but it's not over yet. Your Physics tutor will ask if you have any questions, and you will be asked to do a quick review of what you have learned. It's important for your Physics tutor to make sure you understand everything, and to boost your confidence for that upcoming quiz or exam. Perhaps you didn't have time to cover all your questions or problems in one session, so your Physics tutor can tell you how to schedule another tutorial. Please take the time to answer a couple questions on a short survey when your session is finished as well. Your online Physics tutor is graded on your satisfaction, his/her performance as an online teacher, and his/her popularity with other online students. If you had a great tutor who you would like to work with again, you can select to work with them again or pick a different tutor when you schedule your next session.
Physics is a challenging subject, and if you need a little extra physics homework help, don't be shy! We're so sure you will like your online learning experience that your first session with Tutorzilla is FREE. Sign up now!
