Connecting to a Geometry Tutor

Connecting to your Tutorzilla Geometry tutor is a piece of cake!  First, you will want to create an account so that you can schedule a tutoring session.  We respect your privacy, and only request a few bits of personal information to create your account, including your email address, your first name, your parent's first name, and a phone number so that we can call you to walk you through a quick set-up.  That's it--super easy!  Now you have your own Tutorzilla account page, which you will see after you submit your information. Ok, you need to keep the momentum going for gettting that great geometry tutoring, right?  We waste no time here, so click on the "Schedule Session" link, and you will then select a subject area, course area, topic, instructions for your tutor, upload your homework if necessary, and select a date and time to meet your tutor online.  Confirm that you have picked the right subject, date and time, and you are all ready to rock and roll with your online tutoring!

Getting Online and Connecting to Your Tutor

The best place to start is to check your email inbox.  Tutorzilla will send you an email reminder for your geometry tutoring session, and we will provide you with a link to the Webex session where you will meet your online tutor.  What is Webex? It's the online tool we use to provide whiteboard technology, so that you and your tutor can work through problems together on a virtual whiteboard.  Don't worry if you don't know how Webex works, because the first time you sign on with your geometry tutor, they will teach you how to use the simple Webex tools and how to chat with them.  If you have any technological issues, your tutor can help you troubleshoot them and get online with them.  Of course, you will get much more out of your geometry tutoring session if you have a headset with a microphone, which you can purchase at an electronics store or by visiting our tutoring resources page.

How to End Your Online Tutoring Session

Near the end of your session, your geometry tutor will ask if you have any questions, and they will also want to review what you have gone over in your session.  Tutorzilla tutors do this to make sure you understand the new material, and to reinforce your geometry confidence.  Your tutor will also tell you how to book another session if you need it, and after you sign off you will see a short survey pop up, which we would request that you fill out and tell us about your experience with your online geometry tutor.  We grade our tutors on their performance as an online teacher, your satisfaction with their tutoring, and their popularity with other online students.  And if you had a good experience and would like to work with your geometry tutor again, when you schedule another session, you can request to work with them again.

So don't stare at your geometry homework or quizzes feeling like you have no idea what's going on.  It's easy to get the help you need with Tutorzilla, and your first session is FREE, so sign up today!
