Schedule a Session With an Algebra 2 Tutor

To schedule a session with an Algebra tutor with Tutorzilla, you need to create an account with us.  We only request mimimal personal information to create an account.  We will need your email address, your first name, your parent's first name, and a phone number so that we can talk you through a quick tech set-up.  After you input this information, you will have your own Tutorzilla account page.  In order to schedule your tutoring session, you just need to click on the "Schedule Session" link.  When scheduling your session, you will need to select the subject area, the course area, the topic you want to focus on, instructions for your tutor, upload your homework if necessary, and select a date and time to meet your tutor online.  Now, all you need to do is confirm your selections for your tutoring session, and you're on your way to great Algebra 2 Tutoring!

Get Connected to Your Algebra 2 Tutor

You may be wondering how it all works, and how you meet your tutor online.  The first thing for you to do is check your email inbox.  We will send you an email reminder for your tutoring session and we will provide you with a link to your Webex session you will be using with your Algebra 2 tutor.  We use Webex as our online whiteboard technology, so that you and your tutor can work through your problems together.  It's ok if you don't know how to use Webex, because it's easy to learn, and your tutor will teach you how to use the simple tools and chat feature at the beginning of your first session.  If you have any tech issues, your Algebra tutor can help you fix them so you can get on with learning.  We do recommend that you use a headset with a microphone to get the most out of your session, which you can purchase from our tutoring resources page or at any electronics store.

End Your Online Tutoring Session

How do you end your session?  Near the end of your tutorial, your tutor will check to see if you have any questions about what you have learned, and you will also review what you went over during the tutorial.  Why do we do this?  Because your tutor wants to make sure you completely understand the new material that you have leaned, and we want to reinforce your algebra confidence.  If you need to book another session, your tutor will also tell you how to do this, and you will see a short survey pop up after you close out the Webex window, which we would like you to fill out and tell us about your session with your online Algebra 2 Tutor.  You think you're the only one who gets a grade?  At Tutorzilla, we grade our tutors on their performance as an online teacher, your satisfaction with the session, and their popularity with other online students.  If you had a great learning session and would like to work with your Algebra 2 Tutor again, you can request to work with the same tutor when you schedule your next session.

So don't feel like you need to struggle through Algebra 2 alone.  Tutorzilla's homework tutors can help get you back on track in your algebra classes, and get you to the top of your class!
