Overview of Pre Calculus Material
At most schools, Pre Calculus is an advanced form of secondary school algebra. Mathematicians found that real numbers alone cannot provide a solution for every polynomial equation from Algebra I. So, they invented a number system that would solve those equations, the complex numbers. Vectors
A vector is a concept characterized by a magnitude and a direction. A vector can be thought of as an arrow, drawn from an starting point A pointing to an end point B. If you think of it in this way, the arrow holds all the information of the vector quantity — we know the magnitude from the arrow's length and the direction by the way the arrow's head and body are pointing. We can't get from A to B without the magnitude and direction.
