Tutorzilla is an on-demand internet tutoring company that changes the face of education everyday. With homework help available in subjects ranging from algebra tutoring to calculus tutoring, and chemistry tutoring to physics tutoring, our goal is to deliver a high-quality educational experience to students of all levels and ages.
Intern Program Responsibilities:
If selected as a Tutorzilla Intern, you will be responsible for a multitude of different areas of our business. You might have an opportunity to work in our Client Services Division contacting clients to perform technology walk throughs or following up with clients to gauge their reaction to a tutoring session. Additionally, you might start your day by testing our tutors, scheduling mock sessions, or completing a Quality Control (QC) Survey. We take great pride in the service we provide our clients, and therefore, we are always ensuring our tutors are above the rest. We are always improving our website, and therefore, you might have the responsibility of writing content for our website, contributing to our blog posts for the Tutorzilla blog and writing articles about online tutoring or education initiatives. Quality Controlling our website is also an important factor in keeping Tutorzilla above the rest, so you might look through our website to make sure there are no grammatical errors or issues. Additionally, you might also test out various functions of the website to ensure it is operating properly. For those business folks out there you might support our marketing and sales departments in helping them coordinate and distribute collateral and review and proof marketing and sales materials.
Qualifications
To be a Tutorzilla Intern you need to have a good understanding of the internet, possess either a Math, Science or English major background, be attentive to detail, skilled with MS office suite and an overall hard worker with a positive attitude.
What You Give Us
We're looking for interns who can commit to a regular schedule of at least 4-5 hours a day, 2-3 days a week.
What We Give You
You will learn a lot by working with Tutorzilla: working with new technology such as virtual whiteboard, document exchange and dynamic Voice-Over IP and chat interaction, experience working with our international workforce in India, experience with an E-commerce business, and knowing all the ins and outs of online tutoring company.
